Hüttschlag (Austria)

This heavenly peaceful village at 950 meters above sea level is located at the end of the Grossarltal valley. This area is especially good for cross-country skiers is an alternative to skiing. For beginners there are two practice lifts. There are only two hotels in Hüttschlag. The remaining 250 beds can be found in some inns and guesthouses. The après-ski sets course for little in such a small village. Instead, you'd better take a romantic sleigh rides.

The quiet village Hüttschlag is a particularly suitable holiday destination for people who love peace, and is not suitable for young people looking for lively après-ski - there just isn't any here! The ski area is not connected to the village, so it is not possible to ski back from the slopes to the village. There are several cross-country skiing trails and plenty of wonderul walks too for those who want to take it easy.
