Perfect for walkers
At the end of the Kleinwalsertal valley lies the small village of Baad. At 1244 meters of altitude, the village is perched above the vast valley. It is one of the 3 ski ares in the Kleinwalsertal along with Mittelberg and Riezlern Hirschegg. In Baad there is very little traffic since the village is surrounded by mountains meaning there is a lovely calm atmosphere here.
Another interesting fact is that the valley is only accessible by a road located in Germany Oberstdorf. Baad is a small village and is located in a beautiful area, where one can walk or cycle on the endless, beautiful pathways. The walk through the forest, from Baad to Mittelberg is highly recommended. St. Martin is the mountain church and watches over the village from its position slightly higher up.
