Birgitz (Austria)

In the heart of Tyrol and less than 8 kilometers from the city of Innsbruck is the small village of Birgitz. Although it doesn't have its own ski area, Birgitz compensates for this lack by having one of the longest natural toboggan runs in the region. Skiers and snowboarders can take the free ski bus to Mutters (10 min) or to Axamer Lizum (12 min) where they will find ample skiing. Innsbruck offers all the cultural events and shopping opportunies that one would expect from a large European city.
