The Skiarena Kärnten Nassfeld-Hermagor ski area is located in the south of Carinthia, on the border with Italy. This ski area is less well-known than other areas in Vorarlberg and Tyrol, but the Skiarena Kärnten Nassfeld-Hermagor offers more than 100 kilometres of ski slopes and as many kilometres of cross-country skiing too! The province Carinthia has a reputation for getting loads of sunshine, yet the snow is practically always guaranteed thanks to the excellent snowmaking facilities.
The ski area is located across the slopes of several mountains, which gives the Skiarena Kärnten Nassfeld-Hermagor a rather spread-out character. Whether you start with the slopes of the Madritsche, Troghöhe or the slopes of Carnia and Gmanberg, each way makes a great ski circuit! Snowboarders will enjoy the Tressdorferalm fun park with its half pipe at the Watschiger Alm, while beginners will appreciate the new facilities at the bottom of the Millennium Express gondola lift. The SkiArena Kärnten Nassfeld-Hermagor is a versatile ski area with not-too-steep slopes that are suitable for every skier of average ability. Nassfeld is easily reachable with EasyJet, which operates flights from London Gatwick to nearby Klagenfurt Airport throughout ski season.
