Ski area Steirisches Salzkammergut

The heavy snow falls and the thermal spa facilities together make the motto "skiing is curing“ spring to mind in this area. The two ski areas of Steirisches and Salzkammergut offer a great number of ski slopes of all categories, to be exploited to the fullest by every kind of skier and snowboarder.

This ski area, with over 70km of slopes, is a paradise for beginners and intermediates with mainly blue and red runs on the ski map. However, the two long descents towards the valley are a true challenge for all skiers. Due to the relatively low altitude, snow cannons are everywhere ready to take charge if necessary. There are a large number of lifts here lift queues are a rare sight in this ski area.
