Celebrating the start of ski season
It’s never too early to start planning your winter ski holiday! While the rest of us are basking in the summer sunshine, the dedicated staff at our favourite mountains are already busy preparing for another year of deep powder and good times. You might be surprised to know that there are some ski areas that start the winter season as early as September - when conditions permit, of course! Born and raised in the ski paradise of Vancouver, Canada, I learned to ski before I can remember, balancing precariously on my parents’ skis as they sailed down the hill. I started snowboarding in my teens and am now delighted to be exploring everything Europe’s ski scene has to offer!
