While skiing, we already have enough to worry about: dropoffs, black pistes, moguls, ice, fog, snow, rain, flat light, other skiers and snowboarders, trees, rocks, melted patches, waterfalls, bears... without having to worry about drones too! A skier minding his own business recently almost got taken out by a drone flying around in the middle of the piste. A little further down, he found the two people responsible for flying the drone and... let's just say, he got revenge!
Skier attacks drone
In case anyone is thinking about trying this at home, you should know that flying a drone in a ski area without permission is forbidden. The lads in the video weren't trying to hurt anyone, but it's clear that they didn't think through the consequences of their actions before heading out on the slopes with their drone. Had the skier been less proficient, this could have ended very badly for him. Does this justify the skier attacking the drone with his poles? Watch the video and decide for yourself:
