One of the reasons the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is so popular is for its endless kilometres of pistes. The Skicircus boasts a total of 270km of pistes, of which 140km are blue, 112km are red and 18km are black. This makes the ski area a wonderful choice for families with children, but also for advanced skiers. Every village offers easy access to the heart of the ski area, from where you can ski in virtually any direction. The pistes are connected by a modern lift network comprising 70 lifts. The infrastructure is continually updated, with new lifts being added or renovated every year. After a morning on the slopes, it's time for a well-deserved lunch. You have your choice of 60 mountain restaurants!
Ski ALPIN CARD
The Ski ALPIN CARD gives you access to 408 km of pistes and 121 lifts in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun. Thanks to the zellamseeXpress it's possible to ski from the Skicircus to the Schmittenhöhe. Skiing until April
With so many choices, it's impossible to take advantage of the full ski area in just one week. Luckily, during the winter season the lifts in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn run from December 4th until April 11th, giving you more than enough time for another getaway to the Alps. Ski circuits in the Skicircus
You could choose to explore the ski area on your own, but then you run the possibility of missing some of the best slopes. That's why the Skicircus has designed various ski circuits that make their way around the Skicircus, taking you through all the nicest places and the best pistes. There are 5 ski circuits in total, one for each village plus one that takes you through the entire ski area. The latter is called THE CHALLENGE and it's the longest ski circuit in Austria, boasting 65km of pistes and 12.400 metres gained and lost. You'd better bring a packed lunch for this one - it takes around 7 hours to complete!
Off-slope adventures
The offer of indoor and outdoor activities in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is diverse. After skiing, how about a romantic winter hike? Or would you prefer a round of ice skating? Snowtubing, tobogganing, tandem paragliding and horse-drawn sleigh rides are also on the program. So let's get going on adventure!
Families
The Skicircus is the perfect destination for a family ski holiday. More than half of the pistes are blue and the ski area is full of snow trails, funslopes, snow parks, race and speed courses and much more, to keep the kids interested. Off the slopes, the Skicircus also has plenty to offer. Get everyone's adrenaline pumping with daytime and nighttime tobogganing in the various villages or on Timoks Alpine Coaster - a great break when the kids are just plain skiied out! We also recommend the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps and the Treetop Trail for an exciting, adventure-filled afternoon with the whole family. From the bridge you'll have some spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Freeride mecca
Since the Skicircus merged with Fieberbrunn a few years back, it's become one of the most popular freeriding destinations in the Alps. The Skicircus welcomes several freeriding events every year, most notably the Freeride World Tour. Here, freeriding isn't just for the pros - the entire Skicircus is set up with everything you need to start safely taking your first steps off-piste with the help of experienced guides.
