Arêches-Beaufort in short
-
Height: 1080 - 2300 metres
-
Undiscovered, friendly ski area
-
Over 50 kilometres of varied slopes
-
Unconnected subregions
With around 21 varied slopes, Arêches-Beaufort guarantees the average skier a week of complete satisfaction. Very advanced skiers won't be quite as impressed, given that the range of runs is not particularly difficult. On the other hand, however, the landscape is magical and has a dense forest cover that is rare in this part of the Alps.
As an exception to the French rule, the village also has fantastic après-ski with great restaurants and even a couple of lively options for late night entertainment. But don't be mistaken, it is peace and quiet that prevail in the ski area of Arêches-Beaufort. The masses all charge by and carry on towards the more famous resorts of Crest Voland Cohennoz and Megève.
