Ski area Le Sauze

Le Sauze in short

  • Height: 1400 - 2400 metres
  • Unknown, quiet ski resort
  • Many runs through the trees
  • Old, slow lifts

Due to its very favourable position, the popularity of skiing in Le Sauze began relatively early. Starting from the old Le Sauze ski resort located at 1400m, and then the construction in the 1960s of a satellite ski resort, Super Sauze, which was built 300m higher up. Whoever wants to save travelling time, whether by car or ski lift, can find accommodation in Super Sauze, where the Montagne de l’Alpe provides access to 2 additional ski slopes adapted to more expert skiers. The fantastic mogul run is considered very versatile and challenging.
