The Sybelles ski area boasts 310km of varied skiing for all levels in superb scenery. Links to the Albiez ski area bring this total up to over 350km of ski slopes and make it one of the largest skiing areas in France, and the largest in the Maurienne region. If there is plenty of snow, experienced skiers with lots of stamina can ski right down to St. Jean-de-Maurienne at the very edge of the Sybelles ski area - but be warned, this is a challenging 17km downhill run!
Up on the slopes of the ski resort of La Toussuire (1800m) in the Sybelles ski area, skiers will find pleasant, sunny ski slopes situated on a hilly plateau, dominated by some stately mountain peaks. La Toussuire itself has over 55km of skopes reaching up to an altitude of 2400 meters and offers two snow parks. The other ski resorts in Les Sybelles ski area are Le Corbier, Saint Sorlin d'Arves, Saint-Jean-d'Arves and Saint Colomban de Villards. These smaller ski resorts offer a great choice of ski accommodation and all have access to the fantastic ski slopes of the Sybelles ski area.
