The Mont Jura ski area consists of several small ski areas which cover in total 50km of ski slopes. The maximum altitude is 1680 meters but thanks to its many snow cannons, the ski area has good, guaranteed snow. The Mont Jura ski area is perfect for families with young children, however, more experienced skiers may not find enough of a challenge here.
The ski area of Lélex-Crozet is the largest in the Mont Jura with more than 30km of slopes. The easier slopes go through the forest and offer wonderful views over Lake Geneva. Other, more challenging slopes, are situated on the side of the La Faucille and Mijoux mountains. For cross-country skiing fans, the Valserine valley offers over 120km of trails.
