Val d'Allos is the highest mountain peak in the southern French Alps. Val d'Allos 1800 (the old village name is La Foux) is a typical alpine village with a lot of charm. Val d’Allos - La Foux is an enchanting ski resort built at an altitude of 1800 meters and its all-wood architecture is unique. There are no concrete apartment blocks or ugly buildings here, only chalets and small residences built using natural materials.
Val d'Allos is an ideal ski holiday destination for families with young children as the resort has been awarded the "Famille Plus Montagne" label which means you can expect high standards and a good choice of facilities for families. The Espace Lumiere ski area is made up of Val d'Allos, Foux d'Allos and Pra-Loup is among the largest ski areas in the Alps. The area has 160 kilometers of slopes with something for all levels.
