Beautiful location
-
All-round ski area

Good off piste skiing
Beautifully located between the impressive mountain summits, at the foot of the Grande Casse and on the edge of the Vanoise natural park, lies the small picturesque ski resort of Pralognan. Here a distinct ‘alpine’ atmosphere prevails. Forests, mountains, waterfalls and snow make the setting of Pralognan idyllic.
The ski area is located between 1400m and 2350m of altitude and thanks to the La Vanoise glaciers, snow is of a wonderful quality. It is an all-round ski area which means it is perfectly suitable for all visitors. Although rather small, it offers a good range of slopes for all levels - no-one is left out here! Here, you can ski close to nature, often spotting chamois and ibex in their natural surroundings. There is some good off-piste on Les Pariettes and right up to the 3855m high Pointe de la Grande Casse from which descents of nearly 2500m are possible!
