In the beautiful Regional Natural Park of Queyras, the Queyras ski area, including the Domaine du Haut Guil, is located near the village of Abriès. The Queyras ski area has some high altitude slopes as it lies between altitudes of 1513 meters and 3305 meters above sea level.
The Queyras ski area near the village of Abriès is a small but cozy family area. There are two restaurants on the slopes and there are often children's activities organised here. The Queyras ski area has around 20 km of pistes, of which 9 kilometers are green runs. About 11 km of slopes are covered by snow cannons. Near the village of Abriès is where the cross-country ski area begins. There are two areas, one is at 1844 meters and the other at 1350 meters. There are about 27 km of cross-country trails, divided among eight tracks.
