The Courmayeur ski area offers over 100km of runs with a wide choice for all types of skiers. Even though experienced skiers may be put off by the lack of marked black runs, there is some unforgettable, challenging off-piste once you get up to the highest point of the ski area at the Cresta d'Arp.
The ski resort of Courmayeur is situated at the foot of the famous Evasion Mont-Blanc mountain. The ski area is good for confident skiers, whether beginners or intermediates, as the red and blue runs are actually fairly steep compared to other resorts' standards. Here, skiers can challenge their skills and increase confidence. The morning sun shines on the Checrouit side of the area accessed from the Courmayeur and Dolonne lift and this is where most people spend the morning. Here, there are plenty of wide open runs perfect for warming up tired legs. Most skiers and snowboarders make their way over the other side of the ridge In the afternoon when the sun hits the Val Veny slopes. Here you will find pretty tree-lined runs where you can take a moment to look up at the Mont Blanc towering over you when you stop for a rest.
