This ski area is particularly popular with Italian tourists - in fact as much as 90% of the tourists here are Italians! These sun-loving tourists are well-known for their preference for lounging about on terraces rather than descending the ski area's marvellous ski slopes. Hence, the reason why the slopes here are rarely crowded. The ski area extends to include the neighbouring resorts of Folgarida and Marilleva.
From the fashionable ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio to the quiet resort of Pinzolo, all expectations can be met in this ski spot in Italy. A fifth of the 150km of runs here is reserved just for children - much to their delight. The remaining ski slopes are, as expected, more demanding, but even the World Cup run can be easily tackled by the intermediate to advanced skier. Here, you will find a great variety, especially when you include the Folgarida and Marilleva areas which make up about half of the total ski area. Advanced skiers will be in heaven on the long, sweeping black runs which start at the top of Spinale and Pradalago and go all the way back to the resort. If you haven't had enough once the sun has set, you can even try night skiing here! Due to modern equipment, artificial snow guarantees great skiing conditions.
