Spåtind Skisenter is a charming ski area and the ideal choice for families with young children thanks to its small size. Kids can ski through the trees and have fun in the snow park, or have a shot at snowtubing. Thanks to its northern latitude, the Spåtind ski area boasts good snow conditions on its 5km of pistes - but be sure to dress warmly if you come visit in the dead of winter! Experienced skiers might want to look elsewhere as the skiing on offer here is very limited.
The ski area at Spåtind Skisenter is served by three lifts, one ski school and two restaurants, one of which can be found in the slopeside Spåtind Sport Hotel. The other restaurant, Grautbua, is a perfect place to stop for a drink in the afternoon. Night skiing is available at Spåtind every Friday. Cross-country skiers can make it all the way to the Spåtindtoppen (1414m), where you'll have a fantastic view of the Norwegian winter landscapes. The cross-country trails range from easy to difficult and many professionals train here.
